On December 18th, Ms. Xiaoyun Zhu, Central China District Director of ACCA, Ms. Huiling Zhou, Director of ACCA Education and Student Development, visited our school. Wu Jinhong, Dean of the School of Management, Zhang Fei, Vice Dean of the School of Management, and Yang Jinjian, Director of the International Education Center, attended the talks. The two sides exchanged views on the current cooperation between our school and ACCA and the deepening of cooperation in the future.
Dean Wu Jinhong welcomed Ms. Zhu Xiaoyun and her party on behalf of the school, and expressed her sincere thanks to the association for its support to the ACCA orientation program for many years. Dean Wu introduced the history and characteristics of our school, focusing on the discipline construction, professional development, faculty and talent cultivation of the School of Management.
Ms. Zhu Xiaoyun introduced the "highlight moment" of the cooperation between ACCA and ACCA. According to the data analysis of the ACCA Internship Platform, ACCA students are more popular with employers than the top 200 universities in the world, and we sincerely invite our university to carry out research cooperation with the association in the fields of ESG and sustainable development.
Ms. Zhou Huiling introduced the ACCA Association customized the "Exploration, Diversity, Love and Breakthrough" Student Support Program and the Off-Campus Mentor Program for the Orientation Class students, aiming to jointly cultivate more versatile financial and economic talents. For students' career development, employment and overseas exchanges, the association is willing to work together with the school to achieve win-win cooperation.
Director Yang Jinjian reviewed the 13 years of cooperation between our school and ACCA as well as a series of achievements, and analyzed the challenges faced by ACCA education in our school under the current new situation at home and abroad, and put forward the future work plan of ACCA.
This meeting promoted the in-depth cooperation between ACCA and our school, and planned action plans for further integrating ACCA industry advantage resources into education and teaching activities, and further strengthening ACCA characteristic projects.
