On November 23, 2024, the Joint meeting of Deans of Management Schools of National MBA Training Schools, hosted by the School of Management of Sun Yat-sen University, was held in Guangzhou. Wu Jinhong, dean of the School of Management of our university, was invited to attend this meeting, and had in-depth exchanges with education executives from universities across the country, and actively explored new directions and new paths for the development of MBA education.
In the morning, the conference was grand opened under the chairmanship of Li Shanmin, deputy chairman of the National MBA Education Advisory Committee and Director of the Department of Economics and Management of Sun Yat-sen University, and Yi Zhihong, deputy chairman of the National MBA Education Advisory Committee and former vice president of Renmin University of China. Wang Fan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Sun Yat-sen University, warmly welcomed the invited guests. A number of well-known education executives gave keynote speeches respectively, in-depth analysis of the change trend facing MBA education under the new era environment and the new demands emerging in talent cultivation.
On the afternoon of the same day, the conference held an in-depth discussion on the core theme of "MBA Education Reform helps the process of Chinese-style modernization", and held a work exchange meeting on new MBA training institutions simultaneously. During the conference, Dean Wu Jinhong actively participated in various agendas and delivered a wonderful speech, sharing our valuable experience and unique practice in the field of MBA education. The sharing of these experiences triggered extensive attention and heated discussions among the delegates, which provided useful references and ideas for promoting the overall development of MBA education in the country.

This meeting not only demonstrated the active exploration and remarkable achievements of our college in the field of MBA education, but also built an important platform for our college to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with MBA training institutions across the country. President Wu Jinhong said that he will take this meeting as an opportunity to bring what he has learned and learned back to the College, combine the actual situation of our college, actively explore and innovate, and strive to promote the MBA education of our college to a new level, so as to contribute to cultivating more excellent management talents who meet the needs of economic and social development.
